Is this flaming?

I can see OCB's angle here... giving in to the terrorists' demands so they'd drop their threats.

Whether to give in or not depends on the situation really... here's one example:

A building has been taken over by terrorists and they plan to kill everyone in it if they don't get X amount of money and someone you really cared about (friend, family, significant other) happened to be in that building, which you're aware of. What would you do then? Would you give in to their demands? Or don't give in and risk all those hostages' lives?

Think about that... and what OCB is trying to say...

i dont think giving in to terrorist's demands on certain situations can be deemed pro-terrorist, ofcourse we want those ppl (assuming it would be a hostage situation, or threat of massive bombing in a heavily populated area) to be unharmed! but ofcourse nothing is easy... but if we could erradicate all the terrorists then all the better IMO =__= then there would be no need to give in to any demands as there would be none lmao

All they voted is is "No - it was not flaming and should not be modded", it said nothing about you being a terrorist or not. I don't know others' opinions on this. You could ask in this or another thread.

My opinion is what I stated in the March 04, 2004 05:45 PM post. To make things clear, I think OCB is not a terrorist himself.

<font size="2" face="Verdana,sans-serif">The correct thing to do in this case is to give them a case with false money (invalid/duplicated S/Ns, but printed by the government and undistinguishable from authentic money) and some tracking system installed (or whatever better system the security forces know, which I'm sure I don't); get them to free the people in the building, then go after the terrorists and kill all of them, one by one, then have a party and play soccer with their heads.

They'll want an escape route also, e.g. a helicoper. But they may find a bomb if we planted one on it. So, instead of sending a helicoper with a bomb on, send a bomb that looks like a full size helicoper. Explode it once they are in the air and hope their heads are intact for some football. It's important to have hope. ^_^

LOL, I like that method. Maybe you don't get to play football, but you get fireworks. I like fireworks.

Or... Maybe we could take a bunch of terrorist leader, give them weapons and an irremovable necklace, then place them on an island to fight it out for three days a la Battle Royale. We'll televise it completely, and scare any terrorist out being a terrorist.
